In the morning of 5th March, the delegation of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Federal Republic of Germany) and the partners led by Mr Stephan Rudolph – Secretary of State, Ministry of Labor, Economy and Health of Mecklenburg- Vorpommern working with leaders of Ha Tinh and departments on training of human resources in the field of health and bringing of nursing staffs of Ha Tinh to work in Germany.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Duong Tat Thang expressed his pleasure to receive and work with Mr. Stephan Rudolph and officials of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Ha Tinh. This meeting is one of realized contents of the Memorandum of Cooperation entered between Mecklenburg - Vorpommern and Ha Tinh province in July 2017 in Germany.
Through this business visit, Ha Tinh hoped the delegation of Mecklenburg - Vorpommern and related partners will have a good impression about Ha Tinh, and spend time to understand the potential and advantages of natural and human resources to promote the realization of contents thereof the Memorandum of Cooperation.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mr. Duong Tat Thang said "Ha Tinh has high quality and young human resources. Over the past years, Ha Tinh has received assistance and support from German government in the field of vocational training. As a result Ha Tinh wishes to continue to have cooperation on training human resources in the health sector and bringing of nursing staffs of Ha Tinh to work in Germany. Ha Tinh is also in need of training of human resources in hi-tech, in manufacturing of equipments ,in investment in energy and sending trainee officers to work and learn experiences in factories and fields in Germany
At the meeting, the leaders of the departments and Ha Tinh College of Medicine, the Vietnam - Germany Vocational College, t Ha Tinh Technology Vocational College informed of the contents, programs that the schools are working on and and expressed theirs wishes to cooperate in training and bringing of human resources to workin Germany.
Mr. Stephan Rudolph – Secretary of State, Ministry of Labor, Economy and Health of Mecklenburg- Vorpommern and members of the delegation expressed the impression of the potentials and strengths of Ha Tinh, especially the high quality - young human resource of vocational schools in the province.
Mr. Stephan Rudolph said that together with its rapid economic growth, the government and the people of Germany attach special importance to the health care and public health. However, in recent years, the workforce in this area in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern as well as Germany is in shortage. "In 1996, there were 30,000 high school graduates in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, but in 2017, there were only 11,000 high school graduates. This is a great shortage of young workers”. Mr. Stephan Rudolph also said that in order to immigrate and work in Germany, in addition to the physical condition, the imported workers must gain aB2 German language proficiency . In a coordinated reviewing of the professional training process (health, nursing and other technical professions), the German side will also bring solutions to help teaching German language and towards buidling a center of German language and vocational training. At the meeting, the two parties also reached to an initial agreements on training cooperation, receiving labor in the field of health care, public health care, and investment cooperation in the field of power manufacturing.
